Hello Everyone! I’ve been thinking about the possibility of an annual firework display and Bonfire in Somersham and whether it is a viable option. What are the general community thoughts are on this? I’d love to hear your views both for and against such an event.
    Thanks so much.

Regarding Fire Works – We did have one 20 years ago. It was run by the football club on their site. The bonfire was at the bottom, the fireworks at the top and we had food and drinks. It raised lots of cash as so many people came. A great event for the village.

I think it would be a great idea. Something along the lines of the one at Hemingford?

There isn’t an obvious way to contact the webmaster for this site, so I’m rather hoping these comments are moderated! But I look after the web site for the church in Somersham. Would you add a link to our site to your “groups” menu please. We will do the same on our links page. Kind regards
